The FutureWrap AquaSplash system is designed for repairing defects on pipework, caissons, risers and subsea pipework. It consists of either a stitched glass or carbon cloth and a two- part epoxy resin system. It can be applied in damp locations or fully submerged in the sea. The repair system can operate up to temperatures of 62°C and up to pressures of 350 bar for non-through wall defects and 75 bar for through wall defects. This repair system is ambient cured. The product has a hydrophobic agent in it which aids the adhesion process in wet conditions, perfect for splash zone applications or subsea.
